Dear MSI Provider,

Recently we were informed by Mr. Peter Doherty, the Chair of the SafetyNET Panel, that we do not require certificates 
to connect to MSI providers in the development and testing stages for the iridium GMDSS.

Therefore, we are requesting that you immediately commence emailing your MSI messages to Iridium; the email is: met@iridium.com .  
Initially this information will only be used for development and testing purposes.

We will use the information to ensure that we understand your current formatting, requirements and information as it relates 
to Iridium. Once you have commenced emailing this information please contact Iridium with any question/concerns and to confirm 
that your information is being received. The contact for this is: Daniel.Tillet@iridium.com

At a later stage, Iridium plan to launch GMDSS services, when this happens Iridium will require copies of all MSI providers’ 
certificates before their information can be used as part of a live system.
